Stay in Bed??

I love summer, but isn't it nice to snuggle up in my lovely little coat. Some people wouldn't be seen dead in green, let alone bright lime green. But you know everyone knows I'm the BalconyLIVING doggy, and if I just happen to wander off a bit, it helps everyone know where I live.

Yesterday I got into big trouble wandering off. I just wanted to see if there were any left-overs on the footpath. I was in the sin-bin big time...you better believe it; my mum is real fierce when I step out of line. Crikey gotta go, she's calling me again.

Kissy-Kissy

It's not all "beer and skittles" you know at BalconyLIVING. I have to earn my keep as well as lounging around you know.

The first time this little girl came into the shop she screamed her head off. I ran away outside in the garden as quickly as possible to get away.

How was I to know she was terrified of dogs. Well over time she really learned to love me, and now I have to put up with smooching...argh!!!!

So I should have earned an award too when we were awarded the Best New Business of the Year for NSW/ACT 2006!!!!

Oh well there's always this year. I'm really busy at the moment shepharding the crowds through the shop while our Annual Sale is on. It's good fun, because they smell sooo nice , especially one lady who has ducks. If only I could get my paws on some ducks!!!!

Don't you just hate when you're expected to POSE!! Crikey, I just wanted to see the new operators of the Concord West Post Office.

Incidentally I weigh 9.5kgs.

I generally go to the PO every morning before we open the shop. I love going because I know that afterwards I get my breakkie...yea!!! By then I need a rest and relax in our beautiful garden. There's nothing nicer than laying around listening to the relaxing sound of water .

Dog Gone Potty!!

Well, haven't I been a lazy dog! There's just been so much to do that I haven't had time to lay around posing, you know.

I get plenty of advance warning that interlopers are sussing out my lair while I'm in this great flowerpot, which believe it or not is illuminated.

Be Alert, Not Afraid

Well with all this talk of security its just as well I'm on guard. Can you believe it?

How dare that pathetic excuse of a mutt even think it can walk past our shop BalconyLIVING: the most beautiful shop in Sydney, without me noticing!!! It's just as well that the door is shut.

Mmm, today was quite cool and I was very tired from my quick sojourn in the country catching up with Edmund, the guide dog-in-training. He's a great guy to play with.

We ran around for ages and I desperately wanted to chase the chooks, but they were locked up in their cage.

Its such a pity Edmund can't stay with me and play in the shop. But of course he's only a puppy and he wouldn't know that he had to drink from the water features, or sit down a read quietly like I do. these glasses might look a bit funny, but hey they sure do the job when I really need to read the small print.

I nearly got into trouble today for jumping up on a lovley lady's legs. How am I meant to know she had stockings on?

I hope tomorrow is more fun than today.

I can hear that very naughty dog next door barking his head off, it's is soooo juvenile.

Yes that's right another puppy. Hmmmph, just wait until they get some age under their belt, they'll know to behave better.

Welcome to Snap ShopDog

Hi..my name is Snap. I'm a very spunky Jack Russell; thank goodness I wasn't named Jack! I had to have a short name because I'm always very busy carrying out a myriad of activities. Of course I'm always busy, what would you expect from a very spritely 8 years young, girl dog, premier breed of dog that is!!

So what am I going to talk about? Well I'm sick of hearing about the affairs of the world, people wingeing about petrol prices, high taxes,and the weather. So I'm going to keep you informed about the important things...the things that matter. Well matter to me that is. SHOP-DOGS. Yep, that's right, shop-dogs. Well I do live in the most famous shop in Sydney, Australia, the World.

Ok what's been happenig today? Well it's been a quietish day with lots of lazing around, just catching up on some zeds. Mummsy (M) rushed out the house early going one way and Daddsy (D) wafted out another way, so I didn't get my brekkie until quite late. So I guess what's a gal to do, but laze around with a full tummy.

Our shop has been booooring today, with only a few folk visiting to pat my head and "oo" and "arr" about "the cute puppy". It makes me sick, can't they see I'm fully grown up. Well I suppose I have to maintain the cute myth, it brings the punters in. Just don't expect me to have Botox to look fresh faced, that's all I ask.

Well better go, M&D are closing up the shop. If only they would take me for a walk, but no they'll just plonk themselves down on the sofa, read the paper and watch the giggle box.

Ah well, more zeds I guess. Woof Woof!!!
